Cooking with Jai Ho
Been out for an hour to a nearby supermarket this morning. I just had to buy flour for my baking; the main ingredient I forgot during our last trip to Jusco.
I’d love to eat chicken curry for lunch today. Instead of rice I made a stack of chapati bread for a change….

The ideal duo…

Serve it with butter or soup, but for me it goes perfect with chicken curry…yum!
Just an info….chapati is an unleavened flatbread common in western Asia, particularly India. It is also popular in Malaysia just like the other indian pancake called Roti Canai…the latter would take more time to prepare and I don’t like the greasy feel.
I am feeling so “Jai Ho” today
it reminds me of the Slumdog Millionaire DVD I bought last december but never had the chance to watch. Sigh…
I would try to make Naan bread next weekend if I would still feel the tune, hmm let’s see….
